Mitsubishi Electric Electrical Discharge Machines - #CVE-2023-21554
Multiple cybersecurity firms and researchers discovered a critical vulnerability, CVE-2023-21554, in the Microsoft Message Queuing service that allows remote code execution. The vulnerability affects all currently supported Windows server and client versions and can be exploited by sending malicious MSMQ packets to TCP port 1801. Microsoft has released patches to fix the vulnerability and advises users to install the latest updates immediately. There have been warnings from experts about past vulnerabilities of this type being actively exploited. The vulnerability allows attackers to gain control of affected systems and could enable further attacks. Over 360,000 internet-facing systems are estimated to be at risk from this vulnerability according to researchers.
