Ransomware gang steals data of 5.8 million PharMerica patients
Pharmacy services provider PharMerica has disclosed a data breach affecting over 5.8 million patients, exposing their medical data to hackers. The breach occurred on March 12th, 2023, and the stolen data includes full names, addresses, dates of birth, social security numbers, medications, and health insurance information. The Money Message ransomware gang claimed responsibility for the attack and began publishing the stolen data on March 28th, 2023.
